William Douglas “Doug” Alligood joined the staff in 1985. His primary duties consist of opening and closing interment sites, setting up tents, delivering flowers to the interment site and maintaining the grounds at the Washington location.
He is married to the former Starla Norris. They have two children and two granddaughters. Doug and Starla attend Rosemary Church of Christ and the Beaufort County Grange. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, riding his motorcycle and trying to keep up with his granddaughters. Doug and Starla reside on the CBH Lodge Road.
