Robert B. Hodges
Robert B. Hodges "Bobby", President and Funeral Director, joined the staff of Paul Funeral Home in 1986.. He is a 1974 graduate of Washington High School and a 1983 graduate of East Carolina University. He oversees the day-to-day operations and personnel matters as well as assists family members in funeral arrangements and pre-need arrangements. He is President of the Pilot Paul Mutual Burial Association and is a Certified Crematory Technician. Bobby serves on the By-Laws Committee of the NC Funeral Directors Association. He is a member of the Taylor Study Group, a group of 14 independently owned funeral homes that meet annually to discuss changing events in the funeral industry. He is a retired charter member of the Old Ford Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Old Ford Ruritan Club and the Washington Noon Rotary Club.
Bobby is married to the former Betsy Davis Chesson. They are members of Old Ford Church of Christ. They have a host of animals on the Hodges Farm in the Old Ford area. Bobby and Betsy reside on River Road.
