Billy R. Slade
Billy R. Slade, Funeral Service Director and Senior Embalmer, joined the staff of Paul Funeral Home in 1991. He is a 1981 graduate of Pungo Christian Academy in Belhaven, NC and a 1995 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA with honors. Billy assists family members in funeral arrangements, pre-need arrangements, monument sales, service and manages the day to day operations in purchasing and supplies. He is a Certified Crematory Technician.
Billy is married to the former Pamela Warren. He has two daughters, four step-children and four step grandchildren. Billy and Pam are charter members of South Point Community Church of Chocowinity, NC. He has served with various volunteer fire and rescue departments in Beaufort County. Billy and Pam reside in Blounts Creek. In his spare time, Billy enjoys working in the yard, fishing, boating, cooking on the grill for family and friends and watching UNC basketball.
